Typically choose one starter, 4 main courses, 4 salads and 3 desserts plus vegetarian options or choose from our set buffets.

  • Oak smoked Scottish salmon served with a lemon & chive dressing.

  • Country terrine - made with pork, liver & bacon, lots of port and brandy and served with a spicy tomato chutney.

  • Oriental duck salad – with mange tout, beansprouts & red peppers.

  • Italian platters to share – Bruschetta, Italian meats, bowls of artichoke hearts, feta, olives & sun-blush tomatoes.

  • Mezze plate – Moroccan flat breads served with humous, tzatsiki & spicy red pepper & feta dip.

  • Avocado, tomato & mozzarella , balsamic dressing.

  • Thai fish & mango salad, with lemon grass, chilli, ginger and coriander.

  • Chicken Caesar salad, with bacon & croutons.

Main Dishes

 

 

  • Mediterranean chicken - with roasted mushrooms, red peppers, green beans, black olives and capers tossed in a tomato & oregano dressing.Home-cooked ham with brown sugar & mustard glaze.

  • Chinese style beef - with green peppers, spring onions, bamboo shoots & water chestnuts tossed in a sesame & oyster sauce dressing.

  • Scottish salmon fillet pieces, presented with the head & tail and served with a lemon & dill mayonnaise.

  • Yam Polomai - an Indonesian dish of under-ripe mango, papaya, nashi pear, prawns & scallops.

  • Feta cheesecake with a Parmesan & chive base.

  • Layered gateau of pancakes - layers of tomato & olive, Pea & fennel and roasted aubergine.

Salads

  • Jersey Royals with mint, olive oil & white wine vinegar.

  • Rice and mixed bean salad with oregano & cumin dressing.

  • Fettuccine with cherry tomatoes, fresh herbs & wholegrain mustard dressing.

  • Feta salad with spinach, crisp bread, sumac & pine nuts.

  • Crunchy Thai salad with beansprouts, Chinese cabbage, sugar snaps, cucumber, spinach & herbs.

  • Roasted Mediterranean vegetables with mozzarella and a balsamic & thyme dressing.

  • Classic coleslaw - with homemade mayonnaise.

  • Tomatoes, French beans & basil, dressed with olive oil & balsamic vinegar.

Desserts

 

  • Pavlova - strawberry, raspberry or pineapple & passion fruit. Lemon chiffon pie - a crunchy biscuit base with a tangy lemon cream topping.

  • Raspberry crème brulee.

  • Chocolate or butterscotch profiteroles - filled with cream and smothered with sauce.

  • Chocolate tart - served with a coffee cream.

  • Treacle tart, flavoured with orange and ginger.
